A Brief History of Stamp City.

Stamp City was started in 1992 by Phil & Glen Given, in their modest unit at 157 Pah Road, Epsom. In 1996 the business was moved from the home situation to a business premises at 499 Manukau Rd, Epsom.. Shortly after the move, they purchased the Trotec Laser engraver, which allowed them to expand the business into small signage and badges. This machine was specifically designed to cut rubber for dies for stamps, but in the true Kiwi spirit, Phil & Glen adapted the machine to cut many other items also.

Our current location

In late 1996 the Stamp City North Shore franchise was set up and is still operating under the guidance of Yuri Ivanov, with it's own laser engraver.

In early 1999 Stamp City was bought by Warren & Deidre New. Phil taught the new owners everything he knew and went off into retirement with Glen.

In 2001 Stamp City moved from the Manukau Road address to it's current location at 6/2 Claude Road, Epsom.

The business still concentrates on Stamps {Business, Personal and Crafting}, Small Signage {Up to 600mm x 300mm}, Name Badges, Wax Seals, Embossing Presses, General Laser Engraving {Non Metalic} and repairing heavy duty {Professional} date stamps.
